Washington Irving Library was the 21st and final Carnegie library built in Brooklyn. The branch has served Bushwick since 1923, and today it offers many popular technology- focused programs for young people. Immigrants from all over the world enjoy browsing the branch’s multi-lingual collections and attending its popular programs, including Teen Time, First Five Years and various computer workshops. The weekly resume and career help is also a consistent draw.
