S.T.E.A.M Saturday: Foliage Painting & Urban Forestry

An interactive introduction to urban forestry and a q-tip foliage painting activity! Join the Lewis Latimer House and the NYC Urban Park Rangers for an interactive introduction to the importance of urban forestry and environmental science! Learn more about the importance of pollinators, like fireflies, that sustain our ecosystem. Afterwards, create your own bundled Q-tip fall painting to celebrate the change of seasons.

STEAM Saturdays at LLH are free events, open to all ages and abilities, that feature a hands-on activity, a family-friendly scavenger hunt, and self-guided tours. Drop in any time between 12PM - 4PM! Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
