S.T.E.A.M Saturday - Building Justice: Lego Printmaking | Kids Out and About Rochester

S.T.E.A.M Saturday - Building Justice: Lego Printmaking

Celebrate National Fair Housing Month and Earth Day at the Lewis Latimer House through graphic design and Lego printmaking! Join us to create public awareness posters that communicate the intersections between fair housing and environmental activism. This STEAM Saturday workshop will feature the artwork of Lewis Latimer's daughter, Rebecca Louise, who created graphic design for W.E.B. Dubois’ The Crisis magazine and opened the Latimer home to students and artists in need.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Participants will also have a chance to learn about local initiatives and assistance surrounding fair and just housing in Queens!

STEAM Saturdays at LLH are free events, open to all ages and abilities, that feature a hands-on activity, a family-friendly scavenger hunt, and self-guided tours. Drop in any time between 12PM - 4PM! Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
