Solar Eclipse Day at American Museum of Natural History
*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 04/08/2024
On Monday, April 8, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Join us at the Museum before the eclipse for family-friendly educational activities and to receive your eclipse glasses, while supplies last!
The last time the contiguous United States saw a total solar eclipse was in 2017, and the next one won’t be until 2044. Here in New York, we’ll be able to see the Moon cover up to 90 percent of the Sun at 3:20 pm.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
