Juneteenth at Green-Wood

Mark the 161st anniversary of Juneteenth at Green-Wood. Bring the whole family to the new Green-House at Green-Wood to make a paper flag inspired by the Juneteenth flag, then head out into the Cemetery to explore with a self-guided map featuring the gravesites of Black pioneers. Join us in honoring the heroes and leaders of Black history buried here!

BEFORE RESERVING YOUR SPOT, PLEASE NOTE:
- Attendees must follow all instructions and guidance from Cemetery staff and volunteers.
- Tickets: There are no paper or e-tickets, and registrants do not have to check in. Registration is helpful to give us an idea of participant numbers so that we may have enough materials on hand.
- Where To Go: This program begins at The Green-House at Green-Wood (500 25th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232), near the Main Entrance on Fifth Avenue and 25th Street.
- Accessibility & Safety: The Green-House is an ADA-compliant building; however, extra accommodations for visitors using wheelchairs or other mobility aids are encouraged, before reserving tickets. - Inclement Weather Policy: We monitor weather conditions throughout the day for the best chance of proceeding with the tour, and will not make a final decision until 8am on the day of the event. Cancellations will be announced via Eventbrite email blasts, so check your email and spam folders.
